OUR WORLD IN 3D (archive of the winter 2008 classroom-based course)

Well I was successful in importing a link to the quad map I wanted, however I was unable to get the image to allow me to move it around in google earth. Must be missing something! Hope to find out tonight.

I am excited about taking this course and learning more about Google Earth, SketchUp, and KML files.

I can't wait for this course to begin. We will have fun & learn a lot in the process. The timing of the beginning of this course couldn't be better, as we start on Super Duper Amazing Tuesday (or whatever they're calling it now). This should give us an opportunity to use some real-time examples of Google Earth content. We'll see where this brings us, as the election results should begin to come in while we're in class.
